What does the course entail?
The aim of the IPAF MEWP training is to provide the participant with knowledge, skills and attitude to enable them to operate the MEWP (Mobile Elevated Working Platform) (3A, 3B & 1B) (Please specify which categories you want when booking) in a competent and safe manner. The course also covers the use of Harness in Scissors Lift and Harness in Boom Lift.
This IPAF MEWP course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical training on 3A and 3B machines (Scissors & Boom) and 1B. (Please specify which categories you want when booking) *The theory for the IPAF MEWP course is now done via e-learning at home and you will only need to come into our centre to do the practical training.
We offer IPAF training on our premises at Corlurgan Training Centre, Cavan or on-site at your premises.
We offer IPAF training throughout Ireland such as Cavan, Monaghan, Dublin, Longford, Leitrim, Dundalk, Meath and much more.

Certification
Once a delegate is successful they will receive an IPAF Certificate and PAL Card/Ticket either digitally or a hard copy which is valid for five years and is recognized globally.
They will also receive an IPAF safety guide and an IPAF log book (Now available via EPal app also) will be given to each delegate on the day of training. Photographs for the operator card are taken on site and included in the price.

Requirements
Every candidate for IPAF MEWP courses must be at least 16 years of age. They must be medically fit to operate machinery.
What do I need to bring with me on the day of my practical training?
Each trainees must wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment to operate the MEWPs which include Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Visibility Vest, Harness & Adjustable Restraint Lanyard (If you have your own).
