What does the course entail?
This course instructs an operator to prepare and safely operate Static Boom 1B self-propelled booms.
The aim of the training is to provide the participant with knowledge, skills and attitude to enable them to operate the MEWP (Mobile Elevated Working Platform) in a competent and safe manner. The course also covers the use of Harness in Scissors Lift and Harness in Boom Lift.
The course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical training on 1B machines.
The theory is done via e-learning at home and you will only need to come into our centre to do the practical training.
IPAF certificate and PAL card are valid for five years and are recognized globally.
IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide.
